6 June 2012 (Kiwantis RV Resort, St. Andrews New Brunswick Canada)

We left Bar Harbor this morning in route to St. Andrews, New Brunswick Canada.  We took a short cut between hwy 3 and hwy 9 this morning that was probably the closest thing to a goat trail we have encounter thus far.  It took us about 2hrs to get to the boarder crossing.  The folks on the Canadian side of customs were very nice.  Unfortunately, being a native of Florida got us a thorough vehicle and camper inspection.  Apparently, allot of folks from the Sun Shine State try to bring their firearms with them into Canada.  They asked me if I owned a gun, and where it was.  I told them I owned one, but didn't bring it with me. I assume they already knew I had a CC permit. Other than that we didn't have any other issues with customs.
This afternoon we stopped at the Kiwanis RV Resort here in St. Andrews.  The Resort is going through a massive renovation of their sewer and electrical hook up systems.  It appears about half of the park is presently dug up.  The resort is located across the street from the bay and is a very beautiful location.  We took the girls for a walk in the tourist area of St. Andrews.  Its a super nice little town, with very nice people.  We also took advantage of the warm afternoon and gave the girls a much needed bath.
