We pulled into
the Mill Brook Resort just south of Jefferson Ohio on the 16th for
an overnighter. The park was very well
kept, and sat on an expansive piece of pasture land with a small fishing
lake. Some of the parks features included a large
heated indoor pool, game room, put-put golf, basketball, water volleyball,
beach volleyball, and horseshoe pits. A
nice feature they offered for the Coast to Coast folks were easy access pull
through sites. Areas that could be improved were the
bathrooms facilities. The main washrooms
were all the way in the front of the complex, and the satellite toilets close
to the camping areas were little more than out houses with flush toilets. Additionally, there were no cable TV or sewer
line connections at the sites. A dump
station was available on the way out.
Also, the night we stayed there the Wi-fi was not operational. I would
rate this park a 7 out of 10. A perfect
place to lay over for the night.
After we set up
we went in to Jefferson for dinner. We
stopped at a small Itallian resturaunt called Josephine’s. The food was awesome.
